This is the color palette that I used when designing for this event. I used the basic blue and white and then added shades of orange and brown. The use of brown then allowed me to use a pink rose that is muted with some brown tones it is.
Design tip about color: Colors have varying degrees of other colors. This is because all colors are made up of different wavelengths of light. When two colors are mixed together, the wavelengths of light from each color overlap, creating a new color. The new color will have the wavelengths of light from both original colors.
For example, when red and yellow are mixed, the wavelengths of light from each color overlap, creating orange. Orange is a new color with wavelengths of light from red to yellow.
The amount of each color in a mixture will determine the overall hue of the mixture. For example, if you mix equal amounts of red and yellow, you will get a pure orange color. However, adding more red to the mixture will make the orange more red.
The same principle applies to all colors. When two colors are mixed together, the amount of each color in the mixture will determine the overall hue of the mixture. This is why colors can have varying degrees of other colors in them.
An example I used is the pink roses and the different blues I used in the design. The pink roses had a very low brown tone, and the blues were muted with white tones.
INterior Design Tip:
Not all colors are created equal when designing an event or interior space. pay attention to the overall value of the color, A color may work great with other items in the space, but another may not.

I had gone to the store the day before and bought a lovely lemon rosemary bread and a sundried tomato baguette. I sliced them to serve for my charcuterie board. I seasoned them with lemon olive oil, fresh rosemary, garlic, and some salt and pepper. I put them in the oven and baked them for about 10 minutes. Once they were cooled, I put them on my charcuterie board to have with my brie cheese and other hard cheeses.
It was so simple to do and the results were delicious! The bread was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. The lemon and rosemary flavors were so fragrant and the garlic added a nice touch of savory flavor. It was the perfect accompaniment to the cheeses and other charcuterie items on my board.
