Garden Themed Table Design For Easter
Easter has always been one of my favorite holidays. It has a gentle rhythm, a laid-back afternoon when a small group gathers for an intimate brunch. When the weather allows, we set a table outdoors and welcome the beginning of spring.
It is less about formality and more about presence, a simple way to mark the season.

A Garden-Inspired Easter Table
The table began with a custom linen. I created the tablecloth from a pink-and-orange trellis fabric I found at a wholesale warehouse in Massachusetts. It reminded me of garden structures, structured yet organic, and set the tone for the entire design.
Hint: Designers often look beyond traditional retail, exploring antique stores, warehouses, and unexpected places to find materials that bring a table to life.
I layered in my collection of Portmeirion Botanical Garden dishes, which I have gathered over the years. Their detailed florals, butterflies, and natural motifs make them a natural fit for a garden setting.
On each plate, I placed a floral linen napkin embroidered with spring and summer blooms. The added texture and color soften the table and deepen the overall composition.

Thoughtful Details
Small details often carry the most charm. A moss bunny tied with a silk ribbon brings a quiet nod to Easter without overwhelming the table.
These elements are not meant to stand out on their own, but to support the feeling of the setting, layered, natural, and considered.

A Spring Table Offering
Pink Lemonade Mimosas
A simple, refreshing addition to an Easter table.
Ingredients
1 cup pink lemonade
2 cups prosecco or sparkling wine
A few drops of grenadine (optional)
Instructions
Chill all ingredients.
Pour pink lemonade into coupe or flute glasses.
Gently add prosecco.
Add grenadine if desired for color and depth.
Garnish with raspberries, strawberries, or edible flowers such as violas.
A Gathering in Spring
This table is meant to feel like an extension of the garden. Soft, layered, and welcoming.
