This is a beautiful antique organic natural hemp hand woven. Perfect for a rustic table or modern. Handwoven 100% hemp with indigo blue, pink and green strips. It has never been used. The ends have been secured and is ready to be used. It has been imported from France but I do think it was made elsewhere.
Hemp was probably the earliest plant cultivated for textile fiber and has been one of the most significant crops for mankind up until this last century. The production of hemp it is coming back in the United States as the appetite for more organic sustainable fabrics are in trend.

This runner is really very lovely. It is in excellent condition and really is perfect on a mid-century modern or rustic table. I can see this on a long table outdoors when entertaining alfresco. It has three colors that you can coordinate your design with; green, pink and deep indigo blue.
