Libeco - Tablecloth - Belgian Linen - Timmery - Plain
This is truly a luxurious linen tablecloth! Organic is something Libeco believe deeply in, as a way of life, not as a trend. This organic collection is GOTS-certified and produced locally to Belgium every step of the way. We love knowing that people all over the world are using organic linen. Libeco feel fortunate to have met and spent time with the farmers growing the flax that we use in this collection, and they are some of the most passionate ‘organic’ people we’ve come across. Over the past decade they have been perfecting techniques from the past to be able to grow great flax, organically.
100% organic linen
The flax is the light brown and the oyster is the cream color.
Linen becomes softer as you use it through time. It is a very sturdy high quality linen made with long fibers. Just a beautiful product for everyday use.
100% linen
A table covered with linen, becomes an element to be admired. It can be very sophisticated, well-ironed, with matching napkins. Or perhaps you choose a washed look that’s casual and relaxed. There is something for every taste, for every season.
Each piece is made with pride by our Belgian weavers. They have been producing linen from generation to generation, for over 150 years.
Linen Care
Washing Linen:
Use a gentle detergent without bleach or any type of bleaching agents. Pre-treat stains prior to washing.
Never wash with dark clothing.
Drying Linen:
Linen can be machine dried at low to medium heat but it is not necessary if you prefer not to. Linen dries very quickly either inside or outside. If you do use a machine dryer, do not over drying since this can cause shrinkage and cause damage to the linen fibers themselves.
Ironing Linen:
It is recommended that you iron linen while still damp to assist in ironing. Iron the reverse side of the fabric on medium / high. The use of a spray bottle with water to iron works best in removing wrinkles.
Storing Linen:
Linen should be stored in a cool dry place. Avoid placing linen in plastic since it can cause yellowing.
